What can laser therapy treat in pets?

Laser therapy can help treat a wide variety of issues. The most common reasons why we use laser therapy on our patients are:

• Chronic pain
• Arthritis
• Injuries (sprains, breaks, etc.)
• Post-Operative Rehab

Is laser therapy painful for pets?

Not at all. It is a minimally invasive procedure with no pain or downtime. In fact, it can be quite relaxing for many patients. We usually see patients fall asleep during their treatment, as the laser has a soothing and “massage-like” sensation.

How many laser therapy sessions will my pet need?

It will vary depending on their condition, the severity of their issue and their overall health. One session takes about 15 to 30 minutes long. A total of three sessions is common for many of our patients.
