COVID-19 Policy

Dear Clients,

Orleans Vet is committed to the safety of our team and the community. Therefore, at this time, we would ask that if you are exhibiting any symptoms or have recently traveled, please reschedule any appointments for a later date.

1. WE CAN NOW SEE ALL CASES BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

This includes vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, heartworm testing, spays and neuters, dental services, and more!

2. SAFETY MEASURES TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE

  • Arriving For Appointments
    Until further notice, we will not be letting clients into the building. With the colder months approaching we are adapting our curbside service in order to keep our team safe and warm this winter as we continue to care for your pet. We will continue utilizing our texting based communication platform for all parking lot services. When you arrive, please remain in your vehicle and text us at 613-824-7511. We will respond with further instructions.We will advise you when it’s time to bring your pet to the front entrance for a hand off or when to pick up your pet or your pet’s medication/food, at a designated area. Please note that our texting service is for parking lot services or prepaid pick-ups ONLY, please continue to call us for all other inquiries.
  • Medication, Food and Boutique Orders
    As a friendly reminder, we do require all medication or food pick-ups to be prepaid. Due to availability and shipping delays from our suppliers, we may limit food purchases to 1 bag and/or 1 case per type of food per family per week. This will allow other clients a chance to purchase their pet’s food. We cannot guarantee delivery times.
  • No Cash Policy
    To help keep our staff safe, we are continuing our NO CASH policy at this time. We are happy to accept Debit, Visa and MasterCard.

3. OPERATING HOURS

We are OPEN with the following hours:

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Saturday: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Sunday: CLOSED

Please note that the hospital and the Boutique are currently only open every second Saturday due to staffing issues.
